Lambton Archival Resources: Genealogical Organizations & Facilities

How Genealogy Organizations Are Useful

There are local groups and facilities who also specialize in genealogy and want to help others access family history documents.

The Lambton Branch of the OGS is a great resource for assistance with Ontario genealogical inquiries and the Sarnia Family History Centre is a wonderful resource for international genealogical documents.

Genealogical Organizations & Facilities

The Lambton County Branch of the OGS is a non-profit organization of people who share an interest in family history and genealogy. Monthly meetings are open to the public and include presentations on researching genealogical records.

Members also work on projects to make archival and genealogical documents more accessible to fellow researchers by indexing, digitizing, and writing publications. Members will also conduct research (for a fee) for out of branch OGS members.
